Here lately, Olivia has just thought her daddy is hilarious!!!! Everyday when he comes home from work she just starts smiling and laughing so hard at him. She could have been with me all day and been soooo fussy but the minute he walks in the door he could just look at her and she would start cracking up. We got a little bit on film today of her and her daddy having a good old time! I only got the end of her laughing but hopefully it is enough to get the idea.

6 Months Old Already!!
My sweet baby girl is officially 6 months old. It is hard to believe that she is half way to her first birthday!! When we first brought her home I told J.R. that I would cry when she turned one week old because that was just too old. My how time flies. :) Here are a few things that little Mrs. O is doing right now...she is starting to sit up on her own. She will topple right over though is she looks up at something or gets distracted. Each day I feel like she sits up longer and longer. She is eating squash, green beans, sweet potatoes, and applesauce. We started giving her some water but she doesn't seem to like that very much. She loves playing with her feet on her changing pad and loves bath time. She goes to bed around 7:30 and sleeps between 10 - 11 1/2 hours. It is GREAT!! On a really great night she will go almost 12 hours!!! I thought this time would never come :) . She is still eating about 5 bottles a day but we are trying to work our way down to 4 bottles. Olivia loves to give BIG kisses on your face with her mouth wide open. This is one of my favorite things that she is doing right now! Here are a few pics that I took of her on her 6 month bday but I will have more pictures when we go and get her 6 month pictures taken. Cant wait!!! We LOVE Ashley Warren! :)

Loving our New Wagon
Olivia LOVES her new wagon that Santa brought her for Christmas. She is still too little for it so I put the seats down and put her bumbo in it for her to sit in and off we went. She just loved looking around and being able to see everything!! She just laughed and smiled.... made my day! It was little chilly outside so we only walked down the street but we enjoyed our only outing of the day! :) Anything to leave the house..haha.

Well, after about 3 long hours of slaving away on the sewing machine I FINALLY made Olivia her first home made pair of pants. Let me start by saying that pants are much more difficult than I would have ever thought!!!!! Somehow everytime I held them up one pant leg was like 2 inches shorter than the other.... very frustrating! I think I redid the ruffles on the bottom at least 4 times and when I put them on Livi to test the pant length (making sure they weren't too short since I had taken them up so many times trying to make them even) they ripped on the side. So after I double stitched everything they were finally ready to wear. They look a lot better than I thought that they would and I am some what proud of them. :) I am just relying on what my Aunt always says about making clothes for babies .... "they are a moving target so no one will be looking too closely at their clothing". Hopefully I will get better and much more efficient with time. So here are my first pair of pants and a matching bib!!! Can't wait for her to wear it!!

All by myself... well almost
Over the past few weeks Olivia has been really trying to sit up by herself. We haven't been practicing very much since she usually cries and just wants to stand up all the time and wants to be held. I guess that is what happens with the first child :) She has now gotten to the point where she can sit for a few minutes by herself if she is focused on something but if she starts looking all around then she just topples right over. I think her big belly helps to keep her balance and not fall forward...haha. :) These are some pics of O Love sitting up and playing with some new toys from Christmas from her great grandmother and great aunt!!
I still can't believe that Olivia's first Christmas has already come and gone. Part of me is sad and the other part is relieved. :) We had a VERY long day but it was also a great day. Here is a little schedule of our Christmas day : Went to the Millingtons at 9:00, my parents house at 11:00, family lunch at my parents house at 1:00, back to the Millingtons at 4:30, and home at 7:30. It was a long day for the Princess but we really did enjoy ourselves when she wasn't crying :) We got to spend time with JR's family and my family and entire extended family, all 21 of us :) I think that Livi was just too off schedule all day and was very overwhelmed by all of the people around her. She was pretty fussy most of the day but I am still glad that we got to see everyone. :) We are still working on getting her back to her routine and I think it has made for a much happier baby!! I had planned on taking alot more pictures but when you have a little one screaming in one arm the thought of taking a picture really doesn't sound like that great of an idea. Oh well... maybe next year! :)

And yes... that would be my dad (on the right) in the hounds tooth Alabama sunglasses and a santa hat!! Gag gift from my Aunt. War Eagle!! hahaFriday, December 18, 2009
A 2 month old and a 5 month old :)
Wow.... how do people with twins do it?? I am really just kidding :) My day was actually not too bad. I had the pleasure of watching my sweet goddaughter Mary Lee this morning for a few hours and it was definitly interesting watching both of these two little girls. A 2 and 5 month old will keep you busy. I can't wait until they are old enough to be able to play with each other and we can go and do fun things like go to the zoo or the park. They were both great, took naps at the same time and feedings were one right after the other. Thankfully they didn't wear me out too bad. I took a few pictures and made a short video. Enjoy!

Our First Tooth!
Olivia's first tooth is officially here. :) It is just starting to break through the skin so lets hope that this doesn't make for any long nights. haha. She is almost 5 1/2 months old and this is how old I was when I got my first tooth. Like mother like daughter. :) You can't really see it yet so I will post a picture of it as soon as I can. Yay for teeth!!

I was so excited about sending them out this year because we will actually have our sweet little girl in it this time. :) Luckily Olivia had her 3 month pics taken and with our package we were able to get our Christmas cards done by the photographer.
