Mother's Day Out

Tuesday was our first day of Mother's Day Out. Bot of the girls did great....which sure helped make it easier on this mommy to drop them off. Olivia was soo excited about going to school so I knew she would be great but I was a litte sad about Anna Kayt. Luckily they both had great days and very sweet teachers!!! Here is Livi Love, ready for 'schoo' . (she would not put down the video camera for the pictures.)
Livi with her 'cheese' smile

Wanted to wear her big girl backpack
I think it is bigger than she is! She kept falling backwards when she had it on :)
When we pulled up we ran into one of Livi's very best friends. She couldn't wait to get out of the car to see him and show him her new Jessie doll. They decided that they wanted to hold hands and walk in together. It was adorable!!!

When I came to get the girls, both of their teachers said that they had a great first day!! Yay!! Livi came running to me saying 'mommy here, mommy here' It melted my heart. She said she had fun and played on the playground. All in all, I would call it a great start to Mother's Day Out!!

Happy 4 Months!!

Happy 4 months Anna Kayt!! You are changing soo quickly and turning into your own little person :) You love to laugh laugh laugh, but when you are not happy, you want to make sure that everyone knows it. Your cries usually involve you screaming at the top of your lungs until you can't breath anymore. Luckily, those moments are starting to spread out a little bit more :) You love to play with toys, usually while someone holds you (which is most of the time) and you are almost rolling from you back to your tummy! You are such a sweet little baby and I cherish every second that I get to spend with those sweet cheeks of yours :)
At your 4 months appt. you were 13 lbs 1o oz (37%) and 25 in. (74%). You are taking between 3 - 4 naps a day that last anywhere from 1 - 3 hours and sleep from about 8:30 at night to about 6:30 in the morning! I keep hoping that 6:30 will start to move a little bit closer to 7 or 8...but I'm definitely not complaining :) Happy 4 months, we love you!!!

Life Lately

Things have definitely been moving and shaking over here at the Millington house. In the past month we bought a new house, moved out of ours, found renters, and are currently living with the Millingtons (JR's parents) until we close on our new house at the end of April. Everything has felt like a whirlwind!! This week we have spent a lot of time unpacking, setting up our temporary home at the Millingtons, getting everything together for the new house, getting together lots and lots of paper work together, etc etc! But we have managed to squeeze in a little bit of fun here and there :) We have spent a lot of time doing this.......

The Millingtons have a pool so every night after dinner, Olivia begs us to get in the 'pew' and go swimming. This past time she discovered some goggles and had a blast with them.

This was Anna Kayt's first official time in the pool and she loved it! She stayed in about 30 minutes which is much much longer than Olivia ever did at this age!

She loves to swim with Daddy!

JR decided that Anna Kayt needed to be in this picture too :)

3 Months

This cute little thing is already 3 months old (since I am soo late posting....she is actually almost 4 months!! ) She is growing soo fast, its hard to keep her in clothes. She has just started to really play with her toys and loves to coo at you after her bottles. She is taking 3 naps a day and eating about 6 bottles a day and taking between 4-5 ounces each time. She has also turned into a wonderful sleeper.....thank goodnesss!! We bath her and put her to bed about 8:30, then dream feed her around 10 oclock and she usually sleeps until about 7:30 (and occasionally til about 8:30) It has been sooo nice! It is amazing how much better this mommy feels when I have had a good nights sleep. I took her to the doctor for her 3 month check up and she weighed 12 lbs 4 oz. (35%) and was 23 3/4 in. long (60%). Both girls had to have a check up this time so thankfully my mom came with me to help. :) Couldn't do it without her!! Here are a few pics of my little one at 3 months.
