Three Months Old!!!

Well time is definitely flying by!! I can't believe that my sweet little baby is already 3 months old!!!! She had her 3 month check up today and she weighed 14lbs and 4oz (90th percentile) and was 24 3/4 inches long (92nd percentile). :) The doctor was amazed that she had grown 1 1/2 inches in 4 weeks. She is growing like a weed!! Also today she did something amazing (well to me at least)....haha. She rolled over from her tummy to her back! I am so excited. She looked a little bit confused when she did it, I think she thought that I had pushed her over or something. :) This is a picture of what her and her daddy love to do... sit on the couch and watch some sports!! I just couldn't resist taking this picture.

This is Olivia Love finally sitting up in her Bumbo! Yay! She was holding her head up and actually playing with a toy for the first time. It seems like right when she hit 3 months she just turned into a baby and not an infant anymore. Kind of a bitter sweet moment for me. She is sleeping soo great right now. She is sleeping about 9 - 10 hours a night and taking some great naps. Usually 3 naps and they last from 1 -3 hours. It is great!!!!

Tonight we went to see our new sweet friend Mary Lee. She was born yesterday and was 7lbs 7oz. She is absolutely adorable and so beautiful!! I know that Chandler and Griff are so proud of her. They are going to make great parents to this sweet baby girl! I hope that Olivia Love and Mary Lee grow up to be best friends just like Chandler and I. :) They also asked us last night if we would be Mary Lee's godparents! We were soooo excited and honored that they would ask us!!!!!! I am so glad that I can help be a spiritual mentor and guide to this sweet little girl. JR and I will be praying for her as she starts her journey through life. So, here are some cute pics of our goddaughter Mary Lee!!!

Church Dedication

Well today was the big day! We had baby dedication at First Baptist. As we got up this morning I knew that dedication might get interesting since she only took a 30 minute nap this morning instead of her usual 2 hour one! Soooo we got to church and she was the ONLY one during the family pictures crying and being fussy so it made for a long morning. She got a little fussy during the beginning of the dedication but after a few minutes she calmed down and was fine. She loved looking around at everyone. :) She looked so cute in her little cream linen gown... even when she tee tee d all over the front of it the second we walked out of the sanctuary. Ha ha. You just never know whats going to happen with a little one :) After the dedication we had everyone over for lunch to our house. It was the first big meal that I have ever cooked. We had JR's family, my mom, dad, sister, her boyfriend, Chandler, Griffin, Paw Paw, and Lena. Everything turned out great! Overall it was a great day and I was so glad that everyone got to come!!! We are so thankful to have family to help raise her in a Christian home where she can learn about Christ and his love for her! Her life verse that we chose is Psalms 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." We chose this verse because our desire for her is that she will one day come to know Christ as her savior and that she would hold tight to him through all of life's trials and tribulations. JR and I cannot wait to watch her grow up and feel so blessed that God has entrusted us with his precious child.

Olivia Love Millington

Well.... here goes nothing. :) I have never been a very big blog reader but here lately I have been wanting to find a way to keep up with all of the fun and exciting things that Olivia Love is doing. It is just amazing how fast she is growing up and I don't want to forget a second of it!! :) So I have decided to start blogging about what all is going on with her and our lives. Can't wait to get started.
