Ahoy Matey
Let me start by saying this was one of the cutest little boy parties I have ever been to! It was for one of Livis buddies and his mommy and daddy went all out for this party! They did a pirate theme and the party had everything from a plank going into a bounce house, a treasure hunt with actual buried treasure, to boat rides. It was so much fun and the girls Loved it! ( please excuse that the picture are all out of order, I am having a hard time figuring out how to arrange pics on a mobile device??)
AK enjoying the sun
The "plank" going into the ball pit :)
Mrs. April was so sweet to get Livi a special pink eye patch since she was the only girl. Olivia liked it so much she wore it home, in the bathtub, and wanted to sleep with it on. :)
Birthday boy :) He wouldn't give me a smile.... I think he was trying to stay in character :) He was quoting lines from captain hook!
Centerpieces
A sweet buddy that we don't get to see much since they live in Huntsville. It was so nice to see our friends today!!
Having a BLAST!! We finished the party off by playing in the slip n slide and shooting potato cannons!! Needless to say, Olivia did not want to leave :) Happy 3rd birthday Charlie!!!
Growing up
This little one is almost the big ONE year old!!! I am so thankful that these two are beginning to play and interact with each other, :) I hope they grow up to be best buddies!!!

Diapers?? No thank you!
Some big news and a few random thoughts and pictures...
This past Wednesday Olivia kept telling me that she wanted a princess potty. So in an effort to try and encourage the potty we went and got a new one. This child hates the potty and cries anytime that I try and get her to use it, so I did not think that she would do anything but play with her new potty and get her dolls to use the potty :) I never thought that I would buy one of these, (I like the kind you put on the real potty) because I personally think the stand alone ones are kinda gross but I was willing to give it a try. Well we brought it home and to my surprise she loves it!! I was not prepared at all to begin potty training yet but thanks to a little encouraging from my friend April I decided to give it ago. With many many many many reminders to Olivia that she has on big girl panties we have gone from not pottying at all in the potty to going 5 whole days without an accident!! I know that we are eventually going to have one but I am soo proud of her for doing so well with it. I promise I won't go into details :) but she has just amazed me at how well she has done!! I think we are going to need to invest in some more big girl princess panties soon!! Here is our miracle potty for any of you out there about to begin potty training. We love it!! ( Oh and this a picture of it new....fresh out of box :)
On another note, this one is on the move!! This is where I found her when I was getting Livi ready for bed. Thank goodness for baby gates!!
Anna Kayt's new kicks...her first pair of shoes!
She has started learning how to pull up and a few days ago figured out that she could grab the camera. This is what I saw when I looked at the monitor after her nap. :)
Sweet friends!!
A day at the park. So nice to have a pretty day in February!
She found her big sisters ring pop...yumm!

10 months
My little bit, Anna Kayt is 10 months old already! I took her to peds east for her 9 month check up that is about a month late but she did great. Especially since she didn't have to get any shots:) She weighed 18.9 which is 48% and was 28 in long which is 46% . She is starting to catch up but is still so tiny :) Compared to Olivia at this age, she has the tiniest hands, feet, and little legs. I seriously could eat this baby up.
She has had a big past few days! Yesterday she attempted to pull herself across the floor on her stomach which I was sooo excited about. Olivia could not leave the sitting position or even lean to one side until she was 11.5 months??? Who knows why, guess she just didn't want to?? Hopefully she will figure out this crawling thing pretty soon. Yesterday she was saying ga ga and started saying da da, but today she has added ba ba, and I promise I think I heard a few ma mas in there too. She is getting to that age where they start to learn something new almost daily! She also pulled herself up on a drawer today in Livis room all the way to standing! Yay! our last bit of big news is that AK has Finally gotten her first tooth! She has had a terrible time with teething and we could not figure out what was wrong with her. It has been a long past few days, but thankfully it has broken through and it looks like tooth number two is not too far behind.
We has some friends over tonight and I really noticed for the first time how much she tried to be a part of what they were doing. She wanted their toys and their sippy cups. I have a feeling I am going to be hearing a lot of 'that's mine!!' in my future!! She is taking two naps right now that last about 2-3 hours and is sleeping about 11 hours at night, thank goodness! She is taking about 4 bottles and I am beyond ready to be done with formula!! I am counting down the days until we are formula free!!! :) She has really turned into a happy baby and I am just overjoyed that I get to be called her mommy!! Cannot believe that it is almost time for her big 1st birthday :( It is so hard to get a picture of this squirmy child so I will have to settle with the picture of her eating a chocalate graham cracker....yumm!!

Crazy Hair
At the Millington household, several of us have what is called 'crazy hair' :) Olivia will usually ask me for a hairbow because she has crazy hair! This morning Livi brought out her doll and said "she has crazy hair like mommy!"
Not really sure this is a compliment!! :)
On another hair note I finally had to break down and trim up Anna Kayt's wings as we like to call them. It made me soo sad to trim them but it does look sooooo much better! We used to call this her hacidic Jew hair do :).
