Summertime

These two could live outside if I would let them!! I think they are the happiest when they get either a ring pop or a Popsicle and play in the backyard!!

Play Dates Galore

Now that it is finally summer we have loved getting to get together with friends and do all kinds of fun things together!! We have done everything from going to the movies, going to splash pads, story time, and just hanging out. I love love love warm weather and am so glad that it is finally here!! Cannot wait for many more play dates with these sweet faces and many more! (I have got to get better about taking more pictures)

Silly Silly Girls!!

I have discovered that AK loves the sand!! Even if she can find a patch of dirt, she would rather play with that then in the pool?

No play date is complete with out a little fingernail painting.

I would LOVE to know what they are discussing!

Happy Mommies Day to Me!

Oh how I love these sweet faces! These two girls put a smile on my face every morning and I am so blessed to be their mommy!!

Happy One Year

(just saw that this post never posted.... Oops! Only about 2 months late!)

This munchkin is officially one year old!! How did this happen? She is supposed to be my tiny 6 lb baby :( My how time goes by quickly!

She has done so many new things over the past few months like crawling a little before 10 months, finally learning to use a sippy cup (still not a pro yet), walking while holding our hands, cruising, and attempting mama when she sees me. AK still loves loves loves her baby food and would usually prefer it over table food. Her favorite foods right now are cheese sandwiches, bananas, and hotdogs (very nutritious). Still taking 2 naps and sleeping like a champ at night. At her one year check up she was 19.6 lbs (48%) and 29.5 in (61%).

It took this little bit a long time to get some teeth but we officially have 4 teeth, finally. Hopefully this will help her be able to chew her food a little better and we can branch away from the baby food a little bit.

Even thought this little girl tends to be quite the fussy one, I could really just eat her up!! From her little crinkled nose when she smiles, to her tiny little hands and feet, this little one has stolen our hearts! We love you so much bug and are so blessed to be your mommy and daddy! Happy first birthday!

Yay Anna Kayt!

Silly

Sometimes I think that is just one word to describe this little girl at 2 years old and it is Silly! Some of the faces and things that she says just absolutely crack me up!! Here is a little bit of her silliness!

It's a Livi Taco!

No clue what she is doing?

Seriously?

This is what she wanted to wear on our walk last night, high heals and a purse!?
We are going to have our hands full with this one :)

Those new Chick Fil A chocolate chip cookies must really be good to get it all the way up to your eyes :) Yummy!

I couldn't resist posting a few of this cute little one too :) Sweet girl!

Yummy spaghetti o's!!

First Hair Cut

This little girl got her very first hair cut this past week and she did Awesome!! I tried to build it up to be soo exciting because I know how much she does not like it when I brush or wash her hair so I just new she would have a come apart at the salon! But, to my surprise she really did great!! I guess its just me :) She started out doing great with getting her hair washed...
But got just a little nervous when they started spraying water on her head. Luckily she relaxed but never let go of the death grip that she had on my hand and shirt!

Mrs. Amy did a great job cutting her hair, it looks so much more healthier and fuller! So glad I finally broke down and cut it :) Even if it was only about half an inch. :)

So proud of the penguins on her wrap!

So Beautiful and what a big girl!

Living

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (Ephesians 1:11-12 message)
