Happy Easter

Even though this guy was only a few days old we got to go to my parents house and celebrate Easter with family. I was so glad that Paw Paw and Lena were able to meet their very first great grandson!

The Big Race

The girls and JR ran in their first race for a non profit called No Longer. This organization was started by some trussvile friends and they are raising money to open and sustain an orphanage in the Dominican Republic. We love this groups hearts and can't wait to go and serve beside them one day in the Dominican when their orphanage is open! To say that the girls loved the race would be an understatement! Olivia ran the entire mile with JR and Anna Kayt ran most of it with Sisa and Grumps! I brought a stroller just in case but to my surprise, we definitely did not need it! We celebrated afterwards with Sisa and Grumps and are lots of pancakes at Golden Rule!

Bowling

So these two girls LOVE to bowl! Jr and I took them this summer before school started and they just couldn't get enough! We definitely need to take them back!

And of course what bowling trip is complete without free icees!!

Happy 5th birthday Love!

How is Olivia Love 5 years old!! Noo!! She has recently started kindergarten this year and I still just can't believe it! She is loving school and is really blossoming into a sweet and caring little girl. For Olivia's 5th birthday she wanted to have a Frozen swimming party at B's house. We invited lots of friends and school friends and they had a blast!! The party ended up lasting a little longer than normal because they just kept swimming and swimming! :)

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Cant believe this spunky girl is actually 3 years old!! Wow!! She has grown up a lot in the past few months! She is potty trained extremely well, dressing herself, sleeping in a big girl bed, and thankfully not pitching nearly as many fits! Hallelujah!! :) We decided to have Anna Kayt's party a little early this year since we didn't know when Trip would get here. Anna Kayt wanted a Sophia party so we had it at our house and also did a Clover Easter egg hunt! The kids had soo much fun and loved hunting the eggs!
We also went out to eat at a Japanese restaurant on her actual birthday with family and she loved it!

Trip months 2-5

This little guy has grown soo much in the last few months!! He has definitely put on a few lbs since then!! At Trips 4 month check up he weighed 19.6 lbs (90%) and was about (80%) for length. Head circumference was about 90% as well. We have one big boy on our hands! I want to snuggle him like he's still a tiny baby but it's so hard when you hold him and his legs are already so long that they are already resting on the couch! Trip is definitely my load back little boy. He loves to be held, smiles for most of the day, rarely ever fusses unless he is hungry or tired, and just an extremely happy baby!! I can take him in the stroller to target for 45 minutes and not hear a sound from him! It is wonderful and much needed! However, this guy does NOT sleep! He is usually up about 2 times during the night wanting his paci. Ugh! We finally eliminated the 4am feeding a few weeks ago so that has helped but around 5 am he is usually up for good and I just plug a paci in his mouth every 30 minutes until 7 am and feed him then. We usually put him to bed about 8:30 and have also just stopped the dream feed at 10. He also refuses to sleep in his crib, we have put him back in the rock in sleep in a desperate attempt to get some sleep. He sleeps ok in the crib but loves to sleep on his stomach and will wake up at times screaming due to gas bubbles so the rock in sleep is much easier!! Too bad he is getting way to big for it! We started Trip on rice a little after turning 4 months, and have recently introduced green beans, sweet potatoes, and squash. And shockingly the only one he likes is green beans! Who would have thought! All of that to say that we love this little guy and his big sisters just can't get enough of him! They argue over who he looked at last, and who's turn it is to make him laugh and who gets to hug him next. They LOVE this buddy! He is their real life baby doll. We are so thankful that God has chosen to bless us with this new life and so thankful for the opportunity to raise him up to know and love Christ Jesus.

Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school for Livi and Anna Kayt for 2014. I just can't believe that Livi will no longer be in preschool but will be starting kindergarten!!! How did this happen??? We have loved her class this year and her teacher Mrs. Carla was amazing! Olivia has learned almost all of her letters and verbally counts to 30. She is just starting to string sounds together. I am so proud of all of her accomplishments this year and her growth in school but more importantly in her little heart! Olivia has such a sweet and obedient spirit and I pray that it never leaves her. She is always aware of other peoples feelings and loves to help her teacher. Mrs. Carla always tells me that Livi is her hugger :) I am so thankful for the way her school instills the love of Christ in my children and it has become very evident in they way they talk and pray. We are so proud of you Livi and thank God everyday that He has given you to us to guide and mold and raise up as a Godly young woman!
Today was also Anna Kayt's last day of school as well in 2K. She has grown so much this year and I so love the spunky, caring, loving, and funny little girl she is turning out to be! She has loved having Mrs. Vicki and Mrs. Kathleen as her teachers and talks about them constantly. They have loved on her all year and I am so thankful for them. Anna Kayt right now loves her baby dolls and her new baby brother! She could play with baby dolls all day long and just loves and loves on Trip. In the past few weeks Anna Kayt has moved into a big girl bed and has also been potty trained! I was amazed at how well she transitioned with both of these. She doesn't like change so once she realized that we weren't going back to her crib or diapers she transitioned just fine. We are so proud of you Anna Kayt and I can't believe my baby girl is starting 3k next year! We love you sooo much!!
